Nash Caldera grew up with the Afro-Caribbean religion Santeria, in which superstitions and rituals play an important role. This is reflected in her performances. She tells her stories through rituals, which makes her art recognizable for the viewer. Caldera stirs the emotions of her audience through a spiritual journey.
